I’m an Australian lawyer, embracing the new world of lockdowns, travel restrictions, covid and quarantine. I used to work as a commercial lawyer in the aviation industry, but now that there are more planes in storage in the desert than there are in the air, I’m setting up my own commercial law practice.
I started an Executive MBA at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore in 2019, and am due to finish in the first half of 2021. That’s given me an enterprising spirit and the itch to do something new, as well as a healthy disillusionment over the way most in-house legal teams work (but we can change that culture!).
Pre-Covid I used to spend my time travelling the globe – either for work or for fun. Now, given how hard it is to come in and out of my homes of Australia and Singapore, I think I’ll have some spare time to do this blog.
What I do
The Lawyer
This is what my blog will focus on. Life as a lawyer, a solopreneur, an EMBA graduate and keeping sane.
The swimmer, runner and CrossFitter
This stuff keeps me sane (mostly). Stay tuned for if I have anything enlightening to add.
Mr Domestic (not really)
Crazy how being all grown up takes the fun out of things I used to like such as cooking. They were the days haha though I did bake sourdough in 2021!
